There are times in our life when we find ourselves jotting down things that are essentials along those years of existence that made you who you are today. These are things not written in the ten commandments nor a criterion to seek the heavenly kingdom. But rather a list of things that you come up with your own understanding of a real you, things that made you feel better and some things needed to be improved, such things I would like to share that I have realized at least on my 30th birthday last january in random order.
- I learned that people will eventually forget about what you've said or what you did but people will never forget how you made them feel.
- I learned that no matter how bad life seems today, life has to go on with a reason for a better tomorrow.
- I learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he or she deals with family and pressure, how he/she speaks and moves.
- I learned that regardless of our relationship with our parents, we'll miss them when they're far especially their words of wisdom.
- I learned that some people need a warm hug or a friendly pat on the back more than anything.
- I learned to appreciate single beauty of things that surrounds me, to appreciate is free.
- I learned that God let us undergo certain pain, difficulties, trial, sadness, mistakes, trouble, problem and suffering to know Him and ourselves better.
- I learned that happiness is just a matter of choice and could be yours when you simply let it be with no conditions and no requirements.
- I learned that noone could ever be contented in life not even by making oneself happy by accumulating things you don't truly cherish, no matter how many of them you may have.
- I learned that real success is what feels right to you and what you know in your heart that it is. It isn't success if you make yourself miserable just to achieve it.
- I learned that God created each one of us for a purpose.
- I learned to love kids and find serenity with them.
- I learned that our attitude is not the inevitable result of events that happened to us or circumstances that surround us but instead the way we choose to respond to those events and circumstances in our life.
- I learned to pray for someone else, a small and easy way to help others.
- I learned that if you have a family that loves you and support you, your blessing is immeasurable.
- I learned that if you can go to bed each night knowing that God loves you, you're at peace.
- I learned that life is a constant learning. We should never let the brain idle.
- I learned that the only person who is with us in our deepest moment of sadness is ourselves and God, thus we should listen and find comforts within to keep us alive.
- I learned that there are no such thing as a perfect person for you, only people who are perfect for each other.
- I learned to let go of past hurts and pains, forgetting those who angered me, knowing God can do the rest of what I can't handle.
- I learned that I am blessed well-enough to have my greatest gift from God and that is my beloved daughter, she is truly remarkable in her humblest and simplest way.
- I learned the importance of keeping sanity than loosing oneself, its a requirement to survive.
- I learned to live the day in simplicity appreciating whatever I have.
I learned to give more and expect less.- I learned that the more I get hurt, the more I become a better person.
- I learned to keep my friends old and new, real friends are just hard to find these days.
- I learned that before you could really learn to love others, you must really learn to love yourself .
- I learned to value what parents do for their kids and their role for raising God-fearing child.
- I learned to test my patience and make it work for my advantage.
- I learned that I still have a lot to learn in life.
