10th Week: Waistline, Mood swings, Milk & Storknet

This is day number 70 and you're 10 weeks pregnant! You have 210 days or 30 weeks left, and are 25.0% of the way there. Baby's age since conception is 57 days or 8 weeks. You are due on 11/24/2006.

Baby Development(My baby according to Pregnancy Weekly)Your baby is somewhere between 1 and 1-1/2 inches in length and probably weighs about 4 grams (or as much as 4 paper clips). He or she has lips, toes, eyes that are usually open, ears that are completely formed, and the genitals are becoming more clearly defined. The little pollywog you have inside has lost its "tail" and this week marks the end of the embryonic stage and the beginning of the fetal stage!

My waistline is beginning to disappear and Im having difficult time choosing the right clothing at this stage of my pregnancy.  I am not accustomed of wearing loose shirts and blouses, but right now, I feel much better on wearing clothes that doesn't show much of my stomach sticking out.  And everytime I eat, my belly becomes big balloon at an instant.

Two days ago, I had my worst vomitting so far.  I suspected it was from the food that I ate at dinner which were greasy and fatty.

On same day, I also received a follow up email from Storknetdotcom making sure that I have received the instructions they sent on April 15th to get started on writing for their real time pregnancy journal.
After thoroughly thinking and reading the instructions, I have decided not to continue anymore with writing for storknetdotcom for one basic reason, they are not yet automated when it comes to journaling.  Meaning I have to send them first thru email my journal then one of them has to upload the files and do some HTML before I could see my writing online.  Just thinking of that makes it feel tedious not only on their part but also mine.  I had HTML websites in the past and I know how it works and could take so much of one's time.

I scheduled my first appointment with my previous ob-gyn on May 2, tuesday.  I decided not to see anymore the one that I had chosen on my first prenatal check up because I really prefer physicians that on solo practice rather than in group.  I checked my previous doctor if they are affiliated with my current health insurance and they say they are,  so I am very excited to see her again after six long years.  The only reason that we stopped seeing each other was because she stopped accepting blue cross patients.  She was the one who delivered my first baby.

Lately, I noticed myself a lil bit moody, irritable and resentful like having my monthly period.  I've read that its the hormones that causing it and should subside when the hormones settle down hopefully soon before my loved ones lose patience on me j/k.

Yesterday, I tried Ensure for healthy mom.  I saw its ads on my prescription drug and its one of Ensure's latest product that acts as another supplement to compliment prenatal vitamins and for breastfeeding moms.  Mine comes in creamy milk chocolate.

Today, I called my ob(on my first prenatal check-up) and checked with them the result of my pap test, they say its negative and so I am very thankful for that.  I believe its been two to three years since I had my last pap smear.  But there's another test that is newly available and accurate than pap test which may not find abnormal cells in the cervix until cancer already has developed, its called HPV or Human Papillomavirus Test which can detect virus that causes those abnormal cells.  Be sure to check it out with your doctor.
